(Sr.) Site Reliability Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Take charge on: scaling systems sustainably through mechanisms like automation, evolve systems by pushing for changes that improve reliability and velocity;
  • Improve visibility into the overall performance, availability and traffic patterns via metrics, alerting and engineering analysis;
  • Provide guidance to other teams on managing availability and performance of mission critical services, on building automation to prevent problem recurrence, and on building automated responses for non-exceptional service conditions;
  • Practice sustainable incident response and blameless postmortems.

Requirements

What we are looking for:

  • At least 5 years of experience as Site Reliability Engineer or other relevant working experience;
  • Experience with setting up and maintaining Windows and Linux systems;
  • Experience with Configuration Management tools and Infrastructure-as-code;
  • Experience in Powershell or other scripting languages;
  • A flexible mindset, and natural curiosity that allows you to learn quickly about new technologies;
  • Great communication skills, for internal and external stakeholders, also in English;
  • A relevant bachelor’s degree.


Will be a plus:

  • A relevant master’s degree;
  • Networking and firewalls knowledge;
  • Knowledge of systems like Redis, Rabbit MQ, MongoDB, and ELK;
  • Experience with Azure DevOps;
  • Expertise in the financial services domain.

About the Ockto platform

With the Ockto platform, a consumer can share all personal data necessary for a full digital onboarding. Our platform is secure, easy and trusted by both consumers and financial service companies like ING, Aegon, De Hypotheker, Justlease, etc.


Consumers collect their personal data via Ockto from government sources, banks and other secure data sources and securely share this data with companies that require it to provide a service. So they no longer need to provide personal data about their identity, income, assets, spending, etc. via paper and email.
