Help Build the Future of Secure Personal Data Sharing

At Ockto, we make sure you have a great job and the best conditions to enjoy your work!

Job description

Help Build the Future of Secure Personal Data Sharing

At Ockto, our mission is to set the benchmark for simple, secure, and ethical personal data sharing. Already a vital part of digital journeys like mortgage applications, rental agreements, and private lease processes, we enable people to control and share their sensitive data with confidence.

As our platform grows, reliability, scalability and security become increasingly important. As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you help build and operate the platform that keeps Ockto available, secure and performant across millions of transactions — and you keep it that way as we scale into new markets.

We are a team of curious, highly skilled engineers who value ownership, trust and continuous improvement. You’ll have the freedom to make a real impact while working in a collaborative environment with short decision-making lines.

The Opportunity: Senior Site Reliability Engineer

We are growing rapidly and pushing boundaries in secure, cloud-native digital services. We’re seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer who thrives on impact and innovation. You’ll be part of a collaborative and diverse team, contributing directly to our SaaS platform built with TypeScript and .NET technologies in a public cloud environment.

At Ockto, you’ll find:

  • A dynamic, ambitious engineering culture that values trust, autonomy, and ownership.

  • A team of smart, friendly colleagues who share knowledge and challenge each other to grow.

  • A product with real societal value-empowering users to take control of their personal data securely and effortlessly.

What You’ll Do

You’ll work across engineering to continuously improve the reliability, resilience and security of the Ockto platform.

  • Design, build and automate secure, scalable AWS infrastructure and deployment pipelines using Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD.

  • Drive reliability and resilience through observability (monitoring, logging, alerting), incident response, root cause analysis, and disaster recovery / business continuity.

  • Strengthen our cloud security posture and operate the controls behind our SOC 2 and ISO 27001 commitments — IAM, secrets management, hardening, and native tooling such as GuardDuty, Security Hub and CloudTrail.

  • Keep cloud cost efficient, balancing performance and resilience against spend.

  • Drive structured adoption of AI-assisted development workflows (code assistants, automated testing, spec-to-code pipelines).

  • Uphold privacy and ethical standards, recognising the responsibility that comes with managing people’s most personal data.

About the Ockto Platform

The Ockto platform enables consumers to securely collect and share personal data: such as identity, income, assets, and spending from trusted sources like government agencies and financial institutions.

Trusted by many organisations and financial service providers, Ockto replaces outdated manual data sharing with a streamlined, digital-first experience that benefits both consumers and businesses.

With Ockto, users are in control. No paperwork, no emails, just secure, verified data sharing at the click of a button.

Will be a plus:
